Tradewind is currently seeking a graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor in the Aylesbury area. This is an ad-hoc position offering flexible working arrangements. Join us in fostering a supportive learning environment for students, as you bring flexibility to their education experience. Your responsibilities will include covering lessons with pre-assigned lesson plans. We are looking for confident individuals with strong English language skills who are eager to make a positive impact on the next generation.
*** Competitive daily rate of £91 - £125 based on experience
*** Must possess a driver's license due to school locations in and around Aylesbury
*** Cover Supervisor - covering lessons for students aged 11-18
*** Various Schools in Aylesbury and surrounding areas, offering flexible working arrangements based on your weekly availability

About the Schools - Graduate Cover Supervisor
Becoming a Cover Supervisor is an excellent entry point into teaching before pursuing a PGCE. In this role, you will receive a daily timetable and lesson plan, and your primary responsibilities will include monitoring student behaviour, facilitating their learning, and ensuring compliance with school policies. You will be assigned to 3-4 schools in your local area, either in Aylesbury or neighbouring towns. Work will be offered based on your availability, and you can expect a maximum travel time of one hour. Occasionally, you may need to be available in the early morning (0700 - 0730) for last-minute bookings, as the nature of the job involves covering for sick or unavailable teachers.
