Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in an Alternative Provision School in Barnoldswick?

Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time position starting 1st June 2020 until February 2021 with the view to go permanent for the right person? This is a full-time position on a long-term temporary contract, working 5 days per week 8:00am - 4:00pm, term time only.

Tradewind Preston are working in partnership with an Alternative Provision School to recruit an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant/ Support Worker to support on a 1-2-1 and small groups.

At the Alternative Provision, they cater for KS3 - KS4 pupils with behaviour difficulties and high SEN Needs. The school aims to ensure that they give them the necessary support to improve their confidence, self-esteem and enable them to become successful learners in school and prepared for their future working lives.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 6 months experience working in an Alternative Provision environment or have worked extensively with learners with Behavioural and high SEN Needs.

We are looking for:
*Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
*Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour
*Experience with supporting in Alternative Provision
*Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
