Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a dynamic Cover Supervisor in the Driffield area?

Tradewind are currently working with a good school in Hull, who are looking to recruit a cover supervisor at the start of the academic year, to aid with the transition caused by the long absence that will have occurred. This position is to start at the beginning of the new academic year, and is anticipated to last until at least January 2021.

This is a large, welcoming academy that is really going from strength to strength. Due to it's size, each day will be different, and you will find yourself covering a range of different subjects, teaching a wide variety of students.This position favours a confident individual who is flexible, and has the ability to 'think on their feet'. This could be the perfect position for graduates who are seeking a career in education, providing valuable classroom experience. As a cover supervisor at this large academy, your duties will include:

* Undertaking whole class supervision in the absence of the class teacher, setting work previously prepared by the teacher
* Developing curricular knowledge as required by the school
* Marking elements of class work and homework under the guidance of the class teacher
* Undertaking observations of the pupils and contribute to pupil records
* Administering class tests
* Supervising the work of the Teaching Assistant
* Abiding by and work towards all the policies within the school e.g. behaviour management, Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities
* Carrying out the above duties in accordance with the Children's Services Department's Equal Opportunities Policy.

In terms of payment, we offer £70.00 per day for this position, and for other cover supervisor bookings. Your school working hours will be 8:45AM to 3:00PM on your traditional working day. This is a full time position, and as such are looking for a practitioner who can commit Monday - Friday.
