Tradewind are currently working with a large secondary school in Hull who are in need of regular cover supervisors to work on a flexible basis, on an ongoing basis. The school is looking to establish a list of 'favourite' cover supervisors who are asked back again and again to the school, making it a fantastic opportunity for a cover supervisor looking for consistent work. You will be asked to work in a number of different subjects (usually not PE unless you have a keen interest/specialism in Physical Education). You may be required to work for a full day (8:30AM - 3:00PM) or part of a day. Work can be offered in advance, sometimes a week or sometimes a day, or work can be offered in the morning. We are therefore looking for flexible practitioners who are available to work with notice or often at very short notice. Payment for this position will be between £60.00 and £70.00 per full day.

This position would be extremely suitable for the following:
*Experienced cover supervisors
*Experience teaching assistants who feel confident leading a class
*HLTAs
*Recent graduates interested in a career in education
*Tutors
*Adult educators

Cover Supervision includes:
* Undertaking whole class supervision in the absence of the class teacher, setting work previously prepared by the teacher
* Developing curricular knowledge as required by the school
* Marking elements of class work and homework under the guidance of the class teacher
* Undertaking observations of the pupils and contribute to pupil records
* Administering (and marking) class tests
* Supervising the work of the Teaching Assistant
* Abiding by and work towards all the policies within the school e.g. behaviour management, Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities
* Carrying out the above duties in accordance with the Children's Services Department's Equal Opportunities Policy
