Tradewind are currently recruiting for an excellent Cover Supervisors to work in our Hull and East Riding Schools!

Tradewind are working with an excellent partnership school in Hull who are looking for cover supervisors for their bank staff, starting in September 2020. You will be paid £70.00 per day for this position, and will be working on an ad-hoc basis. The school are looking for cover supervisors who are flexible in the subjects that they are willing to teach, and have excellent behaviour management skills.

You will be working across the school, providing pre-planned cover for students in a range of different classes, across a range of different subjects. The school itself is a wonderful large school that is situated in the Centre of Hull. Your working hours will be 8:30 - 3:00PM, and working as a cover supervisor you will be able to leave on the bell. This is a school with good student behaviour, and students who are willing to learn. Believing wholeheartedly in bridging the attainment gap for disadvantaged students, they will be delivering extra tuition to assist disadvantaged students. The school are looking for practitioners who they can 'induct' in the first week of September, getting them fitted up onto their SIMS, and are looking for cover supervisors who can become regulars within the school.

The role:
*Covering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of different subjects
*Working closely with the English department to deliver specialist English cover
*Administering class tests
*Occasionally working as a 1:1 tutor in the English department
*Working across the school to ensure quality cover is provided

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking for experience in a school, before potentially completing teacher training. This is also an excellent opportunity for newly qualified graduates, who are looking for a long term school placement, before getting their first permanent job. Experienced teaching assistants looking to make a step up would also be excellent for this position.

Essential requirements:
Experience working in a secondary school
All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service, and collection of at least two verified references.
