Are you highly motivated and a driven Cover Supervisor?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary Alternative Provision in Preston, starting September 2019 through to December 2019 with the potential of going permanent. The Alternative Provision in Preston are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to work on a full-time, long term basis. You will be delivering pre planned lessons set from there class teacher these will be throughout the school from KS3 - KS4. You will be delivering pre planned lessons in Science and Maths. The role is to start ASAP, full-time on a long term temporary contract, working 5 days per week to continue for the remainder of the academic year and through September with the potential to go permanent.

They are looking for a Cover Supervisor ideally Team Teach Trained but not essential. Your job will be delivering pre planned lessons across KS3 and KS4 with pupils who have ASD, ADHD, SEMH and Behavioural difficulties. Classes are a maxim of 8 children in a class.

Your role will be teaching pupils within this 'Good' Secondary Alternative Provision experience is essential and a patient and determined character is needed. The Secondary School is based in Preston close links to the motorway and is easily accessible via public transport.

After visiting the school, I was really impressed with the state of the art facilities. This school also encourages a healthy and active approach to every day school life. The school has a welcoming team of staff and a strong and well-structured SLT.

Essential requirements:
* This OFSTED 'Good' Secondary Alternative Provision looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor.
* Team Teach Trained
* Have excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
* Be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Degree Qualified
* Excellent interpersonal skills based on effective communication
* Passion to ensure every pupil succeeds and reaches their full potential
* Experience with working on a group basis
* An awareness of their own strengths and areas for development and a willingness to listen to, reflect constructively and ac upon, as appropriate, feedback from others
* Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
