*** Cover Supervisor - supporting pupils in Key Stage 3 and some 4

*** Good Ofsted rated school, full time post Monday through Friday 8:15-4pm

*** Permanent contract on offer for July 2024. January 2024 or Earlier start date for those available

About the School - Cover Supervisor

This is a well run and popular secondary Academy based centrally to Watford and accessible from all of the major train lines. The SLT ensure a positive and happy environment for their high achieving pupils to thrive within. As a cover supervisor here you will be responsible for covering in teachers absence and ensuring pupils do not fall behind in their learning. Work is set and the school operates a team ethos with cover. The ability to adapt and think on your feet is important as this is a varied role supporting across the whole school. Behaviour is exceptional and students here enjoy English, Maths and Science as well as creative arts. Facilities and trips are second to none.

This is a full time post with opportunities to progress onto a permanent post with the school and / or further your career with routes into teaching if desired. An active interest in supporting all areas of school life such as extra curricular clubs and activities is also advantageous.

Role requirements

• UK Education experience and degree educated (Ideally)
• Youth work, tuition or voluntary experience, highlighted on your CV
• Be able to interview ASAP and start, on or before, January 2024 or sooner if desired.
• A bright and positive attitude and the ability to lead by example
