Tradewind are recruiting COVID-19 Testers now!

Following the announcement that all Secondary Schools in England must begin rapid Covid testing upon the re-opening of schools, Tradewind Recruitment are seeking individuals to join the Covid Tester pool with full training provided.

As a Covid Tester, you will join a team who will be responsible for delivering rapid lateral flow Covid Tests to students returning to School. Full and comprehensive training will be provided both online and in school. You will also be provided with full PPE.

These full time, temporary positions will commence in February, with training to start within the coming weeks, with a pay rate of £70 per day. Our schools are seeking motivated, hard working individuals who are adaptable, flexible and have excellent communication skills.

This School is located in Lewisham, South East London with excellent transport links.

As a Covid tester you will complete a wide range of general daily tasks related to Covid testing which include:

• Handing out and collecting self-testing kits
• Recording results
• Organising queues
• Cleaning the test site
• Assisting students and staff to administer lateral flow tests
• Ensuring that the testing site is well set up and running efficiently during the day
• Full Training and PPE will be provided

Applicants must be in general good health and not classified as in any of the COVID current high-risk groups.

Each school site will run differently, as this is a new role for schools, flexibility, adaptability and being able to calmly think on your feet within a team environment are crucial.
