About the School - Deputy Head - Haringey, North London
Located in the vibrant inner London borough of Haringey this two-form entry Primary School is looking to appoint a new Deputy Head Teacher to join its senior leadership team and help move the school on to the next stage of its development. The school has recently been given a 'Requires Improvement' status at its most recent Ofsted which was expected by the new head teacher after the school had been through a period of falling attainment. This falling attainment can be attributed to a drop-in teaching standards, a fall in behaviour expectations and poor attendance. The new head has highlighted clear areas for the school to focus its efforts on and the first part of this plan is to bring in a deputy head who will focus on improving teaching & learning across the school. This school has loads of potential and with the right team in place should improve quickly so someone looking to add value will see this as an exciting proposition!
