About the Role - Deputy Head teacher - Sutton, South London

*This permanent post is a unique opportunity to work in partnership with a Head teacher and Deputy Head teacher to shape the vision of the school. Therefore, the school is only accepting Deputy Head teacher applications from candidates who have current leadership experience and who are either an Assistant or Deputy Head teacher at their school.
*The focus of this role will be on Curriculum and Assessment, so the Deputy Head teacher applicant must be able to analyse attainment and track student progress to ensure the pupils are reaching their full potential. As well as this, they must be able to create an engaging and stimulating curriculum alongside other members of SLT.
*It is essential that the Deputy Head teacher has excellent classroom practice and recent experience teaching the National Curriculum, as they will be teaching two and a half days a week.
*This permanent Deputy Head teacher role requires the candidate to be an effective communicator who can build effective working relationships and support teams of staff within the school.
