Design and Technology Teacher

You will be joining a client in a modern building with brand new outstanding facilities. You will join the highly-experienced Head of Department to establish Design and Technology throughout KS3 and KS4. As a result, future TLR opportunities are on offer for suitable candidates looking to take the next step in their career.

As mentioned we are looking to recruit a talented Design and Technology Teacher to deliver exceptional teaching and learning, develop the knowledge, skills and confidence of our pupils and help them to achieve excellent results. With direction from the Head of Department and within the context of the academy's curriculum and schemes of work, to plan and prepare effective teaching schemes and lessons. To teach engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve pupil attainment.

The curriculum design enables pupils to make rapid progress and develop a framework of knowledge and understanding in each subject area that provides a solid foundation for further study.

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
