Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a Design Technology Teacher (Resistant Materials) looking for a position in Grimsby?


Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding design technology teacher to teach in an excellent school in Grimsby, starting in January 2020, lasting through until Easter 2020 in the first instance. You will be covering an open vacancy, so if you enjoy the placement, and are successful there is certainly the potential for a permanent position. You will be teaching Resistant Materials to Key Stage 4 students, and all facets of DT (minus Food Technology) to Key Stage 3 students. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role will be expected for this position, so the successful candidate can expect to earn between £120.00 and £180.00 for this position, depending on experience and qualifications. You will be working in a department with excellent, experienced practitioners, and for this reason we will accept applications from NQTs.

The School in question is a large Academy with good transport links and a strong sense of community spirit. Being in a central location, it is easily accessed via public transport. This is a truly wonderful school, being given a rating of 'outstanding' in it's most recent OFSTED inspection. Having fantastic student behaviour, full of students who truly want to learn, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Your typical working hours for this position will be 8:30AM - 2:55PM.
