Are you a strong Teacher of Design Technology and Wood Work/ Construction looking for a new opportunity in the Blackburn area?

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking to appoint a talented, dynamic and inspirational teacher who is capable of teaching Design Technology and Wood Work/or Construction to join a thriving SEMH Secondary School in Blackburn starting in September 2019.

We are looking for a candidate who is ambitious and can add a new dimension to the technology curriculum.

This school is situated in East Lancashire really easy to get to just off the M65 with free parking, if you are traveling by public transport easy to get to with regular busses.

If successful you will be joining a very hard-working team of professionals who are supportive of each other, enjoy their work and have a clear understanding of the drive to help all pupils achieve. For the role you will be required to and MUST have:
*Hold a valid teaching qualification such as a PGCE, QTS or QTLS
*Knowledge and experience to teach across the whole range of age and ability
*A creative approach to teaching and learning who will engage through inspiring and clear teaching strategies
*A Teacher who is enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of student achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved
*A dynamic and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches and have an innovative approach to teaching and learning
*The ability to work on your own and as part of a bigger team
*Be highly organised and professional.

The Secondary School is easily accessible, via public transport and has free parking on site for drivers.
