(Resistant Materials) for a full-time contract from as soon as possible through until the end of the academic year, with the view to a permanent appointment from July 2019. The school are looking for an enthusiastic professional with ideas and commitment to join the Communications Learning Area of this popular, expanding and improving school.

A bit about the role;
The school are looking for a full-time DT teacher with a focus on Resistant Materials.
As an innovative and rapidly improving school they encourage creativity and the use of new technology to enhance teaching and learning in all curriculum areas. The timetable encompasses 40% A-level Resistant Materials, with the rest of the timetable being made up of Key Stage 3 and 4 Design Technology.

The right candidate will;
*Show a commitment to high standards.
*Have a keen interest in teaching and learning styles.
*Be able to demonstrate enthusiasm to match your subject knowledge
*Applicants are warmly welcome from Newly Qualified Teachers due to the experience in the very well supported department; July 2019 starts are available to those wishing to begin their induction year.

We are looking for:
*This OFSTED 'outstanding' secondary academy are looking for a Design Technology Teacher who can teach across all Key Stages and who has excellent subject knowledge
*A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role
*A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT
*the school want to meet a DT Teacher who potentially would like to take on some leadership responsibility in future-they are renowned for internal promotions

To join us and be successful in this DT Teacher role you will need to:
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
