Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a highly respected school looking for a Design and Technology Teacher to join their team from ASAP. The school are able to consider a teacher of most disciplines such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, Engineering and Textiles. The contract will initially be until the end of the academic year at least, with the view to continue or made permanent following a successful assignment.

The successful Technology teacher will also enjoy working in a brand new DT suite with state of the art machinery and resources.
The successful Design Technology Teacher will be:
Able to confidently teach pupils up to GCSE level and proven track record of successful GCSE exam results.
A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the curriculum.
An ambitious, innovative and forward-thinking teacher able to lead a dynamic Technology department.

Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
