Are you an experienced or newly-qualified Design Technology Teacher seeking a supportive school for your first teaching placement? Would you like to work in one of the highest achieving schools in West London? This school has worked alongside Tradewind Recruitment for a number of years providing staff on a daily, long-term and permanent basis and the feedback from teachers regardless of their experience is always first class. The school completely adapted it's induction programme this year in order to support those who qualified in the midst of the pandemic; with the new programme gaining excellent feedback.

Location;

Access to the school in question is first rate. They are served by excellent local transport links across two different London Underground tube stations, as well as numerous bus routes and also the added benefit of an overground station within a 10 minute walk with trains travelling from Central London within 20 minutes. Timetable on offer;

The timetable of the role in question is focusing on Resistant Materials which the successful candidate will teach to A-level. The Design Technology Department is housed in a state-of-the-art building solely for use for DT. The school pride themselves on giving pupils the ability to express themselves through said subjects and as a result have provided first-rate facilities in order to do this.

The department consists of 3 full-time Design Technology Teachers and 2 part-time teachers, as well as having the support of 2 very experienced Design Technology technicians who have been at the school for a number of years. Currently there is a Design Technology NQT completing their induction in the department with great success.

To join us and be successful in this Design Technology Teacher role you will need to:

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
