Rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted, they are one of the top performing schools in the country based on GCSE outcomes. In 2019, 82% of our Year 11 students achieved a good pass (Grade C/4 or above) in both English and Maths while 36% of Year 11 students achieved a grade 7, 8 or 9. Their Business Studies and Economics department has consistently delivered outstanding outcomes. The courses offered within the department are very popular at both GCSE and A level.The behaviour of students is outstanding, and the disciplined environment allows the teachers to focus on delivering great academic outcomes.
Tradewind are looking to recruit an experienced or newly qualified teacher for this post. Students will experience the three technology option routes available for KS4 through 3 termly rotations in Food Technology Graphics and Resistant Materials over KS3.

They have a very well-resourced department in Design and Technology, with traditional workshop space, complete with facilities to create quality products in wood, metal and plastics, as well as excellent CAD/CAM facilities which students use to produce professional products. We have a specialised CAD (Computer Aided Design) room with 25 computers for students to learn to use programmes including Solid Works, 2D Design and the Adobe Suite.
