Tradewind are currently recruiting for an excellent Design Technology Teacher for a long term placement In Hull.

Tradewind are working with an excellent partnership school in Hull, who require a full time Design Technology teacher to cover a planned period of absence. This vacancy is due to start September 2020 (unless there is any news regarding schools opening), and will last until at least October half term. You will be employed on a cover basis, and will not be expected to do any marking (unless you would like to). You will be paid between £110.00 and £150.00 per day for this position, pending experience and qualifications. This position could extend in the future.

You will be working with an excellent and supportive department, with a passionate head of department. We are ideally looking for a versatile practitioner, who can teach Resistant Materials and Food Technology to Key Stage 3 students. There is potential for some Art teaching on the timetable (to Key Stage 3), if the successful candidate has the capacity and willingness to do so.

The role:


*Teaching Key Stage 3 (and possibly 4) Resistant Materials
*Teaching Food Technology to Key Stage 3 students
*Covering Art lessons to Key Stage 3 students
*Planning in line with the national curriculum
*Liasing with other members of the department to create high quality resources for the department

QTS is essential for this position
All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service, and collection of at least two verified references.
