Tradewind is working with a Good Secondary Academy who are looking to appoint a Drama Teacher for a minimum of a two terms covering a maternity leave!

The school is a large - medium sized academy based just outside of St Albans. Behaviour is good and staff work collaboratively under the direction of the established Head and SLT team keeping turnover of staff low within the school that has continued to improve over the last 3 years.

The focus of the school is on high quality teaching to build positive student relationships as happy children learn best! Student numbers are over 1200 and are mixed evenly between boys and girls, SEN and EAL numbers are low for the area and pupils are polite and respectful of their school.

Drama proves a popular subject here, meaning your desirable timetable will compromise heavily of KS5. You'll report into a head of faculty and SLT. Interviews will consist of a lesson observation a short panel interview and tour of the school and it's impressive grounds.

Parking and the schools excellent facilities are also available for hire at a heavily subsidised rate and the school is a short walk from the town centre if commuting on public transport.
