Are you passionate about Drama and ready to inspire young minds? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to join a vibrant school community in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This full-time position is available immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year.

Payment for this position will be between £153.85 and £238.59 per day for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Create a dynamic learning environment that fosters creativity and expression.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Drama curriculum and extracurricular activities.
• Support students in their theatrical performances and productions.
• Undertake all necessary planning, marking, and administrative duties associated with a teaching role.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Drama.
• Relevant teaching experience, preferably within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Drama education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Working with Tradewind:

• Possession of a valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Provide at least 2 satisfactory references.
• Submit a comprehensive CV with full career history.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
