School: SEMH School in Halton

Your Role: As a DT/Construction Teacher at our SEMH school, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of students with SEMH needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive DT/Construction lessons.

Assessing students' progress and adapting teaching methods to individual needs. Creating a safe and supportive learning environment.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support to students.

Inspiring and motivating students to explore their creativity and develop practical skills.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience working with students with SEMH needs is advantageous.

A passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve their potential.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
