Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an EAL teacher looking for a long term role?


Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding EAL specialist teacher who can teach at a wonderful school on the outskirts of York for a long term vacancy. You will be teaching the following specifications: IELTS, Cambridge First and Cambridge Preliminary exams, so experience teaching in this capacity is desirable for this position, as is being Celta trained. This vacancy is to start on 24th February, and will finish on the 19th June. Your typical working hours will be 8:30 to 3:00PM, but you may be required to conduct prep to 8PM one night (you will be paid extra for this day). You will be in charge of a form group, which will be a wonderful opportunity to get to know the wonderful students at the school. We are interested to hear from qualified teachers who have experience working in a similar capacity. You will be paid in accordance with the main pay scale, in real terms meaning the successful candidate can expect to earn between £110.00 and £184.00 per day. With a large percentage of students who will be sitting their EAL exams, it is imperative to the school that they find an outstanding practitioner who cares deeply about the students in their care.


Due to the location of the school it is most accessible via car, and has a large on site car park that provides ample spacing for practitioners who drive. If you rely on public transport, please don't hesitate to get in touch as we may be able to organise a car share. This is a full time vacancy, but again a job share may be possible for two excellent candidates who only have part time availability.
