It's an exciting time to be working in Lambeth children's centres, delivering services and support to children aged 0-4 and their families across a local 'Better Start' area.

SANZA Teaching Agency are currently working with five schools who require the regular support of a CACHE level 3 Nursery Nurse. This opportunity allows you to see a variety of Mainstream schools, Early Years Centres and Nurseries, the meet children with different backgrounds, and to have a huge impact in the development of individuals and your local community. The role will also give complete flexibility with your working hours, availability and days worked.

The successful candidate will be required to work alongside, and support, the lead practitioners in following the early years framework to provide well-planned, stimulating learning environments and to provide high quality care for children at all times.

The role will be working in the nursery which may involve personal care. You will be responsible for approximately 8 key children.

You MUST have a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare.

Purpose of Post:

To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children place in the setting. To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.

To work in accordance with the SEND Code of Practice actively promoting inclusive practice, setting the ethos and approach to children with additional needs.

Identify children not meeting their developmental milestones or showing signs of delay ensuring families are supported to access appropriate targeted services.

As a Lambeth Early Years and Family Practitioner, you will be fundamental to the delivery of Early Years services and activities for young children and their families. You will be knowledgeable about the Early Years Foundation Stage and passionate about delivering high quality Early Years services to young children, while also being committed to working collaboratively with parents and carers to improve outcomes for children and families.

Key skills and experience needed:

· Or previous experience within a school or nursery

· Level 3 qualification in Childcare

· Professional manner

· Enthusiasm and friendly approach
