Are you looking for a class-teaching role as an Early Years (EYFS) Teacher in a lovely and improved school?

This school are recruiting for an EYFS teacher for the Summer term, commencing in April 2019 until the end of the academic year, with a view to offer a permanent position for the right candidate. The school is a lovely village school that is smaller than the average-sized primary school, on the East side of Cambridge.

Ofsted recently graded the school as "Good"; the pupils are described in the OFSTED report as "polite and respectful of one another's ideas". The school has improved dramatically over the past few years due to the guidance of the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.

The EYFS stage is particularly praised, with the children making excellent progress from their various starting points. Children enter the early years with levels of development that are broadly typical of their age, the proportion who reach a good level of development by the end of the Reception Year has been above the national average consistently since 2014. Attendance at the school is good and this is celebrated during assemblies, which are frequently attended by parents.
