Tradewind Recruitment are supporting an infant school in the Chesterfield area with the recruitment of an Early Years teacher for a maternity cover starting July 2021. The position is full time and would involve delivering all aspects of the Early Years curriculum teaching in a Reception class. The schools most recent Ofsted report was outstanding with Ofsted commenting on the excellent progress children make in Early Years, 'The children's behaviour is excellent; they are mature for their age. They ably take on responsibility and treat each other with respect.'
The role is a job share, working 3 days a week from Monday to Wednesday. You will be working closely with an established Early years teacher who covers the remainder of the week.

The school has excellent access to the M1 motorway making it easily accessible from surrounding towns such as Sheffield and Rotherham.
The successful candidate should have experience of teaching the Early Years curriculum and hold QTS or Early Years Teacher status as well as being confident in delivering all aspects of the curriculum and assessing children against the Early Years learning goals.
