About this 'Good' Lambeth school and the EYFS Nursery Teacher role
Conveniently positioned for travel, this school has a child centred approach and warm and caring atmosphere. It is a one form entry school with a strong belief in the value of outdoor learning. It uses the Forest Schools approach and has a dedicated garden for the children to learn the importance of food and the effort it takes to produce it. As a Christian school the collective worship is done creatively and includes music, liturgy and time for silence and reflection. Due to the inclusive nature of the school and a well-planned curriculum, the children make good progress as identified by Ofsted in their 2019 inspection.
About the role - EYFS teacher (Nursery class) - Lambeth, South London.
Ideal candidates will have at least one years experience of teaching in the Early Years. However the school will consider candidates with less than a years experience provided there is an ability to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in this area. The school widely advocates outdoor learning and creative approaches to teaching and learning. The class is currently made of 26 children from diverse backgrounds with a dedicated Nursery Nurse and LSA for children with SEN.
