Located in Stockport, this exceptional school is looking to recruit an EYFS teacher to cover a maternity leave. The position will commence January 2021 and will run until the end of the academic year. The school will consider NQT's as well as experienced teachers and individuals with subject specialisms are warmly encouraged to apply with the potential opportunity to lead in your area of expertise.

As the Early Year Teacher, you will be responsible for the progress and attainment of approximately 30 pupils in a two-form entry school and will be required to work effectively with the Early Years team to share advice, resources and encourage best practice.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for an Early Years class and comply with behaviour management and safeguarding policies.
-Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's holistic development
-Support continuous professional development and provide tasks that allow for play and exploration both inside and outside the classroom setting
-Utilise a range of approaches that cater for visual, audio and kinaesthetic learners and support the development of fine motor skills
-Observe pupil behaviour and assess, record and evidence progress through individual pupil learning journeys
-Implement effective behaviour management strategies with a strong focus on positive reinforcement developing strong relationships with all pupils.
-Effectively manage classroom staff daily to support pupils and heighten learning opportunities.

To be successful in this Early Years teaching role, you will:
*Hold QTS Certification
*Have experience teaching in an Early Years setting (highly desirable)
*Be confident supporting SEN pupils and understand how to implement effective teaching and learning strategies to overcome barriers to learning
*Have an updated DBS and a right to work in the UK
