We are looking to recruit a Teacher who has experience of teaching young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) difficulties at a Special Educational Needs school in Bristol. The role will involve covering English and will be part-time covering Maternity from January 2020. Our client is seeking to appoint a motivated and ambitious Teacher of English with the ability to teach other subjects are seen as a distinct advantage to join their experienced Teaching team.

The ideal candidate should be someone who taught Secondary phases in the past and able to build rapport and manage behaviour effectively with young people with additional needs and challenging behaviour. The role is full-time and will be on a temporary basis until the end of academic year.

This role might be ideal for you if:
-You have previous Teaching experience or Qualifications.(QTS)
-You have previously worked with young people with challenging behaviour
-You have experience and understanding of working in a Special Educational needs setting
-You are available full-time now and have covered English.
-You have training in Team Teach or Positive Behaviour Management.
-You have a flexible and conscientious approach to teaching but aim for high standards
-You are looking for short and long-term positions within schools.

To join us and be successful in this exciting opportunity, you will need to:
** Have QTS/QTLS
* Be available Monday to Wednesday.
*Have PRU experience
*Ideally have team-teach training
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV covering at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
