Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside SEND school in Liverpool to provide cover and long term staff members to cover sickness or absence.

You will be expected to work with the class teacher to manage pupil behaviour and ensure all children have the opportunity to access the curriculum and succeed. You may be expected to work with children on a 1:1 or small group basis.

You will be working with pupils who have varying needs so will need to be confident, resilient and empathetic.

This role will also support you with any future applications for education based career moves.

You will:

  • Be a graduate
  • Have experience working with young people in any capacity
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be able to use your own initiative and think on your feet
  • Be able to build effective and positive relationships with pupils quickly

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check and satisfactory references.
