Tradewind Recruitment are working with an inclusive, diverse and progressive Secondary School in Brent, who are seeking an English Graduate to join their team ASAP as a Teaching Assistant in their English Department.

As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working predominantly in KS3 and KS4 English classes supporting the class teacher to create a supportive, inclusive and engaging learning environment for students to achieve their personal best. You may work with pupils individually and in small groups running interventions and booster classes for those who require additional support or who need to be challenged further, in order to meet the needs of each student. You may also support students with mild to moderate special needs who require additional support, or who have differentiated lessons.

To be successful in this English Graduate Teaching Assistant position in Brent, you will:
*Be a recent Graduate of English with a minimum 2:1, have strong A Levels and GCSEs
*Be a confident, charismatic, engaging individual
*Have a passion for education and offering students an equal opportunity to reach their full potential
*Work well individually and as part of a team
*Be flexible, adaptable and use your initiative to cater to each student's needs
