Starting ASAP and this role pays a daily rate of between £75 - £85 depending on your level of experience.

Located on the outskirts of St Albans this academy has a clear vision for progression ensure all pupils achieve both their personal and academic goals and utilises the backing of their Academy trust.

This is a well-resourced school benefitting from the latest technology with each student being allocated their own Ipad as a mobile learning device. Staff are happy and successful and are truly valued by the school and SLT praised by the schools most recent Ofsted, Good - 2016.

The school is bright, modern and vibrant and utilises various trips and activities to the sister schools in the trust, sharing resources, CPD and collaborative staff events. There are good transport links to the local community as well as the excellent transport links to London.

With pupils already needing to catch up on the turbulent Summer term, the Headteacher and SLT are keen to recruit an additional Teaching Assistant to strengthen the English team this year.

The Teaching Assistant must:
*Ideally hold an English degree or other relevant qualifications e.g. childcare
*Have recent experience working with children or as TA/LSA
*Have energy, commitment and creativity
*Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
*Have a positive attitude
*Be available and willing to commit for the academic year 2019/20
