Tradewind recruitment are working with an excellent partnership school in the East Riding of Yorkshire, who are in need of a qualified and experienced English teacher to work until Christmas. You will be performing all of the responsibilities and duties of a permanent staff member, and for this reason will be paid to scale (up to M6) for this position. This position is four days per week (0.8). This is a temporary contract. You will be covering a staff member who is off due to illness. You may be asked to extend passed Christmas, into the new year.

You will be working within a high functioning English department, with an excellent Head of Department, who all aim to provide the best possible education to their students. A Level experience would be desirable, but not essential for this position. Experience teaching in an intervention role/performing small group intervention would be ideal, as a large part of this booking will involve working with small groups, catching students up with their lost learning time.

The school itself is a high performing school, who are improving every year. The school is looking for a candidate who shares their ethos. The school is a short drive from Hull and Driffield.
The role:
*Teaching English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
*Planning and marking in line with the national curriculum
