*This South-East London school is looking for an English Teacher to join their inclusive and collaborative staff team on a permanent basis from January 2020.
*Located in Sidcup, the school is situated close to Sidcup station and can be accessed via the Southeastern Line which is 35 minutes from Central London.
*The school has a modern teaching environments where students can access cutting edge technology and staff can create lessons embedded with multi forms of media.
*Students are very well behaved and excel in the classroom, with many pupils going onto Oxbridge or other Russel Group Universities after finishing their A Levels. They are eager to learn and due to the selective nature of the school there are no behaviour issues.


About the Role - English Teacher - Bexley, South-East London

*The English Department is full of well qualified and passionate English Teachers who truly believe in every student.
*Facilities include interactive whiteboards, so teachers who explore multi-media analysis in their English lessons are highly desirable.
*English classes are streamed from KS4, and at KS5, English is a very popular subject, so the successful candidate for this permanent English Teacher role must have strong subject knowledge.
*English is fully embedded in extracurricular activities, and the school run theatre trips, creative writing competitions and an annual magazine to promote the love for the subject. Therefore, it is highly desirable that the applicant wants to involve themselves with these activities.
*This permanent English Teacher role will be suitable for both NQTs and more experienced English Teachers, and the school is looking to pay up to UPS3.
*It is essential that this English Teacher has QTS, an English Degree of 2:1 or higher and at least a B in A Level English.
