Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative English Teacher, to join a large community secondary school, to start from January 2021. This is a full time, longer term role, paying up to £180 a day for a minimum of two terms.

To join us and be successful in this English Teacher role, you will need to:
* Hold QTS Status or QTLS
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
* Provide a CV covering 10 years employment/education history with any employment breaks explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK

The role itself will involve the delivery of English Language and English Literature lessons to students in KS3 and KS4 mixed ability groups. You will be planning, preparing, assessing and marking as well as attending regular departmental weekly meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons are delivered to the highest quality.

The school is based in south Birmingham with excellent public transport links and ample parking available.
