The role
This role is for an English teacher to start in January 2020. English is a core subject taught at the Foundation, Acceleration and Examination stages of The Curriculum. Students then can continue their studies at A-level. The post is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to teach and work within a team of highly motivated and inspiring staff. The vacancy is suitable for an NQT or someone looking to broaden their teaching experience.

The Faculty of English & Media Studies
The Faculty is incredibly successful at both GCSE and A-level, with large classes for both A-level English Literature and Language; 100%% of students are achieving A*-D in English Literature last year at A level and 83% achieving 9-4 at GCSE . The Faculty also includes the Media Studies Department which is a popular A-level choice. They have always been innovative with the range of courses they can offer students and have often favoured early entry in GCSE English Language.
