Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative English Teacher, to join a successful academy, starting ASAP. This is a full time, long term role, paying up to £180 a day.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established secondary school, which caters for students from 11 -16 years old. The school celebrates diversity and believe strongly in providing an environment where all young people can thrive. The school places emphasis on supporting students of all abilities and backgrounds to develop high aspirations and achieve their potential.

The school is looking for an English Teacher that can deliver lessons across all Key Stages, with a strong level of subject knowledge, as well as a great personality for building relationships with staff and students alike. You must be a committed practitioner, who will set high expectations, with the strive to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT.

The role itself will involve the delivery of English lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, where the department has enjoyed improving GCSE results year on year. Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress!

The school is based in Tameside, with excellent public transport links to the surrounding areas and ample parking available.

*Hold QTS Status or QTLS
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV with 10 years employment history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
