This great community school located in the heart of Enfield, North London is looking to appoint an English Teacher on a permanent basis starting January 2020. The school has a mixed intake of students from a range of different cultural and social backgrounds and gives it pupils a holistic education that prepares them for further study or to enter the world of work. Many of the pupils at this school are from low socioeconomic backgrounds and as such free school meals, EAL and SEN numbers are higher than the national average. Behaviour is good at this school and students are easy to engage in their work if teaching is a high quality with inspiring lessons and consistent application of the schools' behaviour policy. Attainment in English is improving year on year at all key stages, thanks to the exceptional teachers that form the department.
