The full-time role will start from Easter 2021, with the school being able to offer long term supply, temp to perm or straight to permanent for the right candidate.

You be expected to plan and lead inspiring English lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils within a welcoming English department. Having recently joined a highly successful Trust, this is an exciting time to join the team and be part of this transitional period getting the school back to its previous achievements. Pupils' behaviour and learning has been totally transformed and teachers have raised their expectations. The leadership team and other staff members will offer the successful candidate great support. The school are also able to consider applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) and those with experience.

The successful English teacher will be:
A committed and reliable educator, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will lead through creative approaches including the use of ICT and other resources.
Up to date knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum with a proven track record of results.

The school has ample parking on site and is easily commutable on public transport from the surrounding areas.
