Tradewind recruitment are currently working to recruit an outstanding English teacher, to undertake a long term role in a thriving 'Good' Secondary school in Hull. This position is to start September 2020, and is anticipated to last until at least January 2021. You will be covering a period of absence due to a maternity leave. This is a full time, long term role, and payment will be paid to scale up to M6, depending on experience and qualifications.

The perfect candidate:
*Ofsted rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' English teacher with sound curriculum knowledge
*A keen, committed practitioner who is willing to give their all to their students
*A team player who works well within a group setting (you will be part of a large department)

You will be responsible for teaching English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students; this may include some exam classes. If you have experience teaching SEN students/working in a nurture role, there is potential for Year 7 and 8 nurture classes to be on the timetable. This will include teaching students with SEN a variety of subjects, and suits practitioners with experience in this area. This would take up approximately 6 lessons per week on the timetable.

Transport links to the academy are good, with regular buses from the City Centre and other parts of Hull. There is a large onsite car park with ample parking spaces for all candidates who drive.
