Role Overview:
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to cover a maternity leave position at a secondary school. The successful candidate will commence the role after the February half term, contributing to the academic growth and success of the students.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality English lessons to students at the GCSE level.
- Planning and preparing engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of SEND students.
- Sole responsibility for the planning and delivery of English curriculum across the school.
- Implementing effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching English at the GCSE level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of SEND students.
