This oversubscribed, high achieving school, located near Lewisham are looking appoint an enthusiastic English teacher from September 2020 to join a thriving department that has been consistently achieving exceptional results for many years. The school offers a friendly working environment which promotes professional development. The post is a temporary contract, lasting for a year on a part-time basis over 3/4 days per week. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and NQTs.
English is a popular subject A-Level and at GCSE, students take English Language and English Literature at GCSE and produce excellent results.
The successful candidate will:
*Be able to deliver English in all three key stages
*hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and possess the required experience and skills to take on this role within the department
*willing to contribute to the wider life of the school and to a rich and diverse programme of extra-curricular activities

To be successful in this role you will need to:
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Have excellent knowledge of the English curriculum.
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
