English Teacher
COVID-19 notice: We're continuing to recruit education staff throughout these unprecedented times, as we can still get you registered and cleared ready for when schools re-open. Instead of face-to-face meetings, all interviews will be via phone and we can guide you through submitting your documents online.
If you are an ambitious, hardworking English teacher who would relish the opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking Secondary Academy, call Tradewind today!
Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding English teacher for a small secondary school in Lincolnshire. The role is due to start once the schools fully reopen in the new Academic year. The role is likely to last initially for 2 terms, however, there is a high possibility it will become a permanent post and the successful recruit is most welcome to apply should that be the case.
Due to the requirement to provide a full teaching role including planning and marking, the successful English Teacher can expect to be paid on the main pay scale, which equates to a maximum of £184 per day.
This small academy boasts a history of successful Ofsted outcomes and is known locally as the school who continues to deliver year on year outstanding results and demonstrating high expectations through all its endeavours.
The school is part of a wider academy trust and works well with the local primary schools who feed into it.
Its rural location with ample onsite parking is suitable for those with own transport as the availability of public transport to this location is limited.
This academy delivers up to Key Stage 4 so the ability to support GCSE students is essential.
The successful recruit will be willing to involve themselves in the wider school life including extracurricular roles and pastoral support.
The school believes in ensuring all staff are supported through ongoing individualised CPD programmes and you will have regular support with your direct line manager.
SLT are highly visible throughout the academy and make themselves available always.
Essential requirements:
QTS is essential for this post with a degree in English as a desirable - other humanities subjects could be considered if you can demonstrate delivery of GCSE English previously.
Candidates must be able to provide legal right to work in the UK in order to apply for this role.
