Tradewind is working with a forward-thinking, modern academy in Luton looking to recruit a strong English teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 until the end of the year, with a permanent contract available for the right candidate. This school is part of a six-academy trust in which all schools have made rapid improvements in both examination results and Ofsted feedback, and where high expectations of conduct and academic rigour are expected across the trust. The school has a strong SLT who have overseen their recent period of improvement, and a supportive English department which encourages creative approaches and ideas.

This school is seeking a teacher who will:
*Be able to demonstrate creative and engaging approaches to their teaching with a good record of achievement
*Have a proven ability to raise standards in classrooms
*Have experience of leading teaching and learning initiatives beyond their classroom
*Be able to plan and resource effective interventions to meet curricular objectives
*Have an excellent understanding of the components which comprise outstanding teaching and learning

This may be either an experienced practitioner or an NQT with strong feedback from their course provider who is seeking thorough, structured training and mentoring in their first teaching role.
