Tradewind are currently recruiting for an exceptional English teacher for a North Lincolnshire secondary school. This English teaching role is due to start once the schools fully reopen in the new Academic year. The school has indicated that the position is likely to be required initially for 2 terms, however, there is a high possibility it will become a permanent post and the successful recruit is most welcome to apply should that be the case.
As this requirement will be a full teaching role, including planning, assessing and marking, the successful English Teacher can expect to be paid on the main pay scale, which equates to a maximum of £184 per day.
The opportunity to join this school is rare - they have a low level of staff turnover as people love the working environment and enjoy the culture that SLT have embedded with staff and students alike.
The school has strong links with colleagues across the area and works well with the local primary schools who feed into it.
Staff can enjoy ample onsite parking for those with own transport and those who rely on public transport methods will be able to utilise various methods the town offers.
This school delivers up to Key Stage 4 so the ability to support GCSE students is essential.
The successful recruit will be willing to involve themselves in the wider school life including extracurricular roles and pastoral support.
The school believes in ensuring all staff are supported through ongoing individualised CPD programmes and you will have regular support with your direct line manager.
SLT are highly visible throughout the academy and make themselves available always.
QTS is essential for this post with a degree in English as a desirable - other humanities subjects could be considered if you can demonstrate delivery of GCSE English previously.
Candidates must be able to provide legal right to work in the UK in order to apply for this role.
