As this requirement will be a full teaching role including planning, assessing and marking, the successful English Teacher can expect to be paid on the main pay scale, which equates to a maximum of £189 per day.

As a standalone secondary school, the SLT work hard to provide an aspirational environment and the ethos is centred around giving every student the best opportunities. The school works tirelessly to ensure that every student they support is provided with a pathway of learning that guarantees they achieve their absolute best.

Staff within the school feel highly engaged and supported and through their internal surveys, feedback for how they are led by SLT is highly praised.
Staff enjoy the ample training opportunities afforded to them and as the successful applicant, you too will benefit from this.

The school believes in ensuring all staff are supported through ongoing individualised CPD programmes and you will have regular support with your direct line manager.
SLT are highly visible throughout the academy and make themselves available always.
This school delivers up to Key Stage 4 so the ability to support GCSE students is essential.
The successful recruit will be willing to involve themselves in the wider school life including extracurricular roles and pastoral support.

Due to the location of the school, it's best advised that applicants have access to their own transport as links into the area are limited.
There is ample onsite parking for those with their own transport.
