*To plan and assess pupil's learning using data effectively and up to date subject sources
*Meet the learning needs of each pupil and implement effective interventions where needed
*Incorporate ICT and excellent learning materials to ensure inspiration
*Manage pupil behaviour effectively following the agreed school policy
*Work collaboratively with all members of the English Department to build a relevant and well-resourced curriculum
*Attend appropriate CPD to ensure best practice
