Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding English for an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in the Wigan area. The role is to start in January 2021 and will continue on an ongoing basis, initially until February half-term, covering staff sickness. Due to the nature of this absence, the successful candidate could be required until Easter. The school are happy to consider applications from NQTs, RQTs or experienced teachers for this position.

The successful candidate will be joining a Wigan faith school who are an inclusive community. The school aim to build a healthy work/life balance for all staff. The affect of this is that staff are able to model and inspire positive wellbeing.

As part of this role you will be required to teach English across KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for planning, assessing and report writing and be required to attend parents evenings.

To be considered for this English Teacher position you must:

-Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification;
-Have experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4;
-Have the legal right to work in the UK
-Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure;
-Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references (including your most recent employer), covering the last 2 years.
