Tradewind is thrilled to invite applications for an English Teacher position at a reputable secondary school in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill this long-term full-time supply position, commencing as soon as possible. This role is initially on supply, with the potential for extension, and we welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The successful candidate must possess the ability to teach English Language and English Literature to Key Stages 3 & 4.
Key Details:
- Role: English Teacher
- Start Date: ASAP
- Position: Full-time, Long-term supply (with potential for extension)
- Teaching: English Language and English Literature to KS3 & 4
- Pay Rates: Competitive, dependent on experience, up to (UPS3)
- Responsibilities: Full teacher responsibilities, including planning, delivering, and marking lessons. Attendance at CPD sessions and parents evenings may be required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain a new one.
- A complete 10-year career history.
- Minimum of 2 references, including your most recent employment reference.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
