Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with an OFSTED 'Outstanding' all through School in the London borough of Brent, who are seeking hardworking and ambitious English graduates, wanting to commence their careers in education this September. This is a full time, long term Teaching Assistant position of one academic year.

The successful applicant will:
*Be a positive, encouraging and motivating individual with a passion for education
*Be able to build positive relationships with students based on mutual trust and respect, in order to improve student attainment, and personal progression
*Hold a minimum 2:1 degree in English
*Have the drive and aspiration to complete their teacher training after their Teaching Assistant experience

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working with a range of students from Year 7 to Year 13, focusing on raising their attainment in English and literacy. You may work in small groups, running literacy interventions and booster classes for lower set students, or work individually with students who have additional learning needs such as ASD, ADHD, dyslexia or Global Delay who require a differentiated lesson, or who work with modified resources. You will need to be flexible and able to adapt to any situation and communicate effectively with the class teacher and SEN departments to ensure that all needs of the students are met and exceeded, to give everyone an equal opportunity to reach their full potential.

To be successful in the Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
*Hold a minimum 2:1 degree in any specialism
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
