Tradewind Recruitment are working with an Ofsted rated Outstanding co-educational Secondary School in Camden who are looking for an English Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team in the new academic year. This position will be offered on a full time, long term basis until the end of the 2020/21 academic year.



As an English Teaching Assistant in Camden, you will:

Provide in class support to motivate, encourage and engage students in their lesson to ensure they can access the curriculum across KS3 and KS4 English classes

Working alongside the class teachers and inclusion team to differentiate lesson plans to meet the needs of students and creating bespoke learning activities for your key students

Running small group or individual lessons / interventions with your key students, which you will plan and deliver based around the areas of curriculum your key students need additional support with.



This full-time position is ideally suited to an aspiring Secondary Englsh Teacher who is eager to gain valuable classroom experience before joining a Teacher Training programme. The successful candidate for this English Teaching Assistant position in Camden will:

Be a recent English Graduate (2:1 minimum)

Have a passion for education and be able to inspire students within English classes to do their best

Be an engaging, charismatic and confident individual who is able to build rapport and successful relationships with students and staff members alike.

Be passionate about providing a rounded, inclusive and individual education for the most vulnerable students

Hold a 2:1 minimum English Degree, and be interested in a career as an English Teacher

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

You must have the legal right to work in the UK
